Key Responsibilities Include

  • Support the delivery of replacement manager engagements, working with investors, lenders and governance bodies to facilitate manager transitions, stabilise fund operations and protect asset value.
  • Assist in providing advisory services to Limited Partner Advisory Committees (LPACs) and institutional investors, supporting governance reviews, strategic decision-making and oversight of complex fund situations.
  • Contribute to the execution of distressed and tail-end fund solutions, including portfolio assessments, liquidity and restructuring options, fund wind downs, continuation vehicles and other value-maximising strategies.
  • Assist with the execution of detailed financial, operational and commercial analysis to support advisory mandates, including valuation reviews, cash flow analysis, portfolio performance assessments and investor reporting.
  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify emerging trends, distressed opportunities, replacement manager mandates and new service offerings within the alternative asset management sector.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying prospective clients and opportunities, preparing marketing materials, proposals and client presentations, and contributing to thought leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the firm's service lines and with external stakeholders, including fund managers, institutional investors, lenders, legal advisers and other professional advisers.
  • Assist with engagement management, including project coordination, maintaining project documentation, tracking deliverables and supporting client communications.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, presentations and committee papers for clients, investment committees and governance bodies.
  • Support the operational and financial management of engagements, including budgeting, monitoring project financial performance, invoicing, accounts administration and other commercial activities.
  • Take ownership of workstreams while developing technical expertise across fund advisory, restructuring, distressed investing and alternative asset management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
