Main Function of the role
The jobholder will be an associate in the Funds Financial Services Team for unitised funds. This team oversees the fund administration processes for the Federated Hermes unitised funds, ensuring the appropriate oversight and financial controls are in place, and liaising with the relevant internal and external stakeholders. The jobholder would primarily assist the Director, Funds Financial Services in his role as Designated Person (DP) for Financial and Capital Management for the Irish Management Company.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate and liaise with various internal teams in the UK and US to collate reports and Management Information regarding the oversight of the Capital and Financial management for the Irish Management Company.
- Attend meetings and produce minutes and action logs with internal teams in the UK and US regarding the oversight of the Capital and Financial management for the Irish Management Company.
- Coordinate policy and procedure reviews for the Funds Financial Services team.
- Build and maintain relationships with the third-party suppliers that are utilised by Federated Hermes, to include input to the Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
- Provide support for the Funds Financial Services team for queries
- Produce monthly investor and transaction analysis for senior management
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the team making regular tasks as streamlined and effective as possible

Minimum Experience Required
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a number of activities concurrently
- The ideal candidate will possess academic credentials, preferably with a degree
- Previous experience of working in the Financial Services industry is preferred
- They will be able to communicate clearly and succinctly in both written and oral form

- Ability to negotiate effectively with external suppliers
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to present and interpret clear and relevant Management Information to a high standard
- Collaborative team player
- Willingness to learn and develop in the role
