Middlesbrough
Permanent / Full Time
GBP45,000 to GBP60,000 per Annum
We're looking for an Associate Geoenvironmental Consultant to join our growing team in Middlesbrough, working on a varied portfolio of environmental and ground-related projects across the North East.
- You'll support the delivery of Phase 1 desk studies, ground investigations, contaminated land assessments, risk assessments and remediation projects, working closely with experienced consultants, engineers and clients.
- In this role, you'll play an important part in mentoring and supporting junior members of the team, helping them develop their technical knowledge, confidence and consultancy skills.
- You'll also have the opportunity to oversee a range of geoenvironmental projects, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget, while maintaining strong client relationships.
- As the team continues to grow, you'll contribute to building and developing the wider geoenvironmental team, helping shape processes, share best practice and create a positive environment where people can progress and succeed.

What we're looking for
- Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geoscience or a related subject
- Previous experience in a geoenvironmental, contaminated land or ground investigation role
- Understanding of UK contaminated land guidance and legislation
- Strong report-writing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
