The opportunity:
To join an award-winning, integrated multidisciplinary consulting engineering practice, based out of the London office, on a hybrid basis, as part of a national team. As the geotechnical discipline lead in London, with the opportunity to progress on merit. The person we seek:
- Has gained at least 10 years’ experience in geotechnical design and analysis in the UK, progressing to Principal/ Associate level with a consultancy.
- Is a manager and developing leader, with the commercial and operational awareness required to succeed in this position.
- Has developed excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Builds relationships and is comfortable developing existing and new clients, preparing fee proposals and supporting bids.
- Strong geotechnical analysis and interpretive report writing skills.
- Working knowledge of geotechnical software tools such as Plaxis, GeoStudio and Wallap.
- Comfortable leading and managing ground investigations.
- Chartered Member of the ICE / Geological Society.
