About the Role

MMA are currently working to add an associate-level candidate to a leading boutique search firm that covers Managing Directors and business-critical revenue-generating placements for a select group of hedge fund, private equity, and real asset-focused clientele.

With their long-standing relationships, they are consistently retained by the most prestigious institutions across EMEA, and are widely considered one of the industry's best boutique retained search firms focused on alternative assets.

Spanning two offices in London and New York, they are looking to add someone in London to a team of two, working closely with a Partner who billed over £2 million in 2025 and already has over a million in 2026 pipeline.

Compensation

Joining on a base up to £45,000 plus a genuinely leading performance-weighted bonus structure, you will be developed with the long-term aim of moving into a revenue-generating Principal as your sector knowledge increases throughout your career.

Company Culture

As a firm, they promote organic growth and foster a true meritocratic environment; all current Principals in the firm started as Associates and have grown with the business, and they can point to the fact that they have never lost an employee to a competitor to back this up.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
