What Makes This Role Exciting

This is a great opportunity for a HR professional who enjoys variety, responsibility and making visible impact across a global business. As an Associate HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting employees and managers across Poland and Hungary.

  • You’ll gain hands on experience across the full employee lifecycle, alongside opportunities to work closely with experienced HR Business Partners across EMEA.
  • This role offers involvement in HR data, reporting and insights, allowing you to contribute to decision making and continuous improvement.
  • You’ll be given the opportunity to own and deliver regional HR projects. From service awards and new hire initiatives to engagement activities and refreshed HR materials.
  • You’ll develop strong project and stakeholder management skills while seeing your work have a direct impact on the employee experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious, proactive and eager to progress their HR career in a fast paced, supportive and global HR team.

This is a hybrid based role, you will be required to come to the office in Andover once a week.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers across Poland & Hungary, building strong relationships across the region through advising on HR policies and procedures, providing practical, solutions focused advice and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the employee life cycle, including pre-boarding, onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Assist in managing employee-related cases, ensuring consistency, fairness and compliance at all times.
  • Support HR reporting and data analysis, helping to generate insights that inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the delivery of regional HR projects and initiatives (e.g. engagement activities, onboarding programs, service awards) to enhance the employee experience in Central EMEA.
  • Stay informed of current Polish & Hungarian employment legislation, proactively flagging changes and supporting the implementation of any required actions.
  • Update and maintain HR documentation and materials, ensuring content reflects CloudPay’s branding, company policies and local legislative requirements.

Experience Needed For This Role

  • In addition to previous HR generalist experience and Polish employment law knowledge, we’re excited to hear from candidates who bring some of the following:
  • Experience supporting HR activities across the employee lifecycle, ideally within a multi-country or international environment.
  • Exposure to Polish employment law and HR practices and a keen interest to deepen expertise in this area.
  • Experience in employee relations casework, with the opportunity to grow confidence in managing cases with guidance and support.
  • Familiarity with HR data and reporting, including Excel or HR systems, and an interest in turning data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to HR projects or initiatives, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to adapt to different stakeholders within a fast-paced global environment.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility within HR.

Languages

  • Fluent in English and Polish.
  • Additional language skills in Hungarian would be a strong advantage.
