Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and client-focused lawyer to build long-term relationships with high-profile clients, while contributing to the growth of a leading Construction practice in the region.

Based in London, the new recruit will work closely with the UAE team and predominantly focus on supporting a key institutional client in the oil and gas sector. • Drafting, advising upon, negotiating and preparing construction contract documentation including: building contracts (in particular FIDIC standard forms); consultancy agreements; and forms of ancillary security.
  • Providing strategic contract advisory services on live projects across the Gulf, including risk identification and mitigation and interpretation of contractual provisions.
  • Collaborating closely with in-house legal and project management teams to ensure alignment with commercial and operational objectives.
  • Supporting the development and mentoring of trainees and paralegals within the team.
  • Contributing to thought leadership initiatives through legal research, client briefings, and publication of articles.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
