The team has a range of clients spanning FTSE 100 REITS, Property Companies, high net worth individuals, developers, institutional funds and occupier/tenants.

The team provide a full range of agency, development, investment and lease advisory advice to clients, with a focus in London and the South East of England for the Industrial & Logistics sector and nationwide for the trade sector. Clients are predominately but not solely landlords.
A selection of clients include SEGRO, IPIF, Aberdeen, Delancey, Eskmuir, Goodman, M&G, Nuveen, CBRE IM, Valor Real Estate, Legal & General, Railpen, Indurent, Royal London, and Royal Mail.
The lease advisory team are market leaders in their field with one of the largest teams in London. We are looking to build upon continued success and grow the team to provide additional strength and support.
ROLE OVERVIEW
- The role provides for great exposure to clients of various types giving the individual a breadth of knowledge, understanding and key client requirements in the sector.
- The role will assist on lease advisory matters predominantly in London and the South East.
- Taking an active interest in business development, including use of social media to promote the firm.
- The surveyor will be expected to be able to prioritise work successfully, as the team have clients and instructions at varying stages at any given time.
- The surveyor should be able to manage their own diary.
- The role will include site visits, industrial building inspections and secure environments so a positive attitude to the health and safety of all and discretion is of importance.
- The role will provide an excellent insight to a leading industrial team giving a varied workload within a professional but informal framework.

The role will be assisting with the above on a day-to-day basis, primarily supporting the Partners.
MAIN DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals.
- Put together / keep up to date comparable evidence schedules.
- Analysing lease documents and identifying clauses affecting value.
- Assist with preparing pitch documents, client reports, expert witness reports etc.
- Ability to accurately assess market rent of the subject premises.
- Drafting quoting rents, Calderbank offers, Memoranda and Heads of Terms.
- Research to assist winning new business and opportunities.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- RICS Qualified.
- Preferable 4+ years’ experience in lease advisory, with Industrial & Logistics experience preferred but not essential. 5 years?
- Excellent communicator, especially via written reporting.
- Client focused and market orientated.
- Demonstrable experience of winning and pitching work.
- Driven to succeed as a key part of the Industrial & Logistics work stream within the Commercial Agency & Advisory department.
- Team player.
- High service delivery skills.
- Full driving licence and access to a car.
- Enthusiastic and ambitious.
