About the role
We are seeking Associate Lecturers to join our Higher Education team at the Fashion Retail Academy. Successful candidates will be instrumental in shaping the educational journey of our students across Levels 4, 5, and 6, fostering industry-relevant skills and creative excellence. We are seeking Associate Lecturers with expertise in Fashion Marketing and Communications.
Working as part of a collaborative programme team, you will:
- Contribute your subject expertise to support the delivery of an innovative and industry-informed curriculum.
- Teach, prepare and carry out associated academic duties across Levels 4, 5 and 6.
- Support students in developing the creative, analytical and critical thinking skills required for careers in fashion marketing and communications.
- Contribute to module delivery and assessment.
- Support student engagement and progression.
- Uphold academic standards in line with institutional regulations and awarding body requirements.
- Work closely with the Programme Manager and wider academic team to contribute to a collaborative academic culture focused on continuous improvement and student success.
About you
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree and professional experience in subject specialism.

Experience:
- Industry experience in subject specialist area and/or experience in teaching within Higher Education.
Expertise:
- A strong understanding of contemporary fashion marketing and communications, including brand storytelling, consumer insight and the role of digital media within the fashion industry.
Skills:
- A confident and engaging communicator with excellent presentation skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring others.

Salary
- Hourly rate: £42.49 per teaching hour, inclusive of preparation and associated pedagogic work.
- Non-teaching duties across provisions, including course development work, are paid at £24.13 per hour inclusive.
