The Role

We are seeking an Associate Lecturer in Applied Psychology / Psychology to join our Tutor Services Team in delivering innovative, flexible and inclusive online education to a diverse global student community across our MSc Psychology programmes.

As Associate Lecturer you will be focused on facilitating an engaging, inclusive and academically rigorous learning experience within a module-based online delivery model. The postholder will support students through a range of digital platforms primarily; Aula and Microsoft Teams.

You will support students by providing constructive feedback on assignments, and encouraging active, independent learning. This role requires an ability to create a challenging, thought-provoking learning environment that promotes debate and develops the students’ analytical skills.

Qualifications Required

  • Master’s degree in Applied Psychology or similar field (this must be a qualification in psychology)

Our Successful Candidate

We are looking for a subject expert in Applied Psychology & Psychology, with a relevant qualification in the field. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Applied Psychology & Psychology at postgraduate level and be committed to supporting students in developing their critical thinking, academic skills, and understanding of the subject.

You will have:

  • High level of proficiency in ICT and understanding of its application to teaching and learning support
  • Committed to delivering high quality services to students and external clients

This position is ideal for an experienced practitioner with a passion for online education, digital innovation, and widening participation in higher education.
