We're partnering with one of the world's most established names in luxury hospitality design in the search for an experienced Associate Interior Designer to join its London team.

This is a significant leadership opportunity for a designer ready to take genuine ownership of major international projects and play a pivotal role in shaping the work, the team and the client experience.

The studio is involved in some of the world's most prestigious five-star hotels and resorts, with an international project portfolio spanning multiple locations, cultures and markets.

The Opportunity

As an Associate, you'll take a leading role across high-profile hospitality projects, working closely with clients, consultants and international project teams to drive design quality and successful delivery.

This is a position with substantial project ownership. You'll be trusted to lead key aspects of projects, make important design decisions and ensure the studio's creative vision is maintained throughout the process.

You'll also have the opportunity to manage and mentor designers within your team, whilst collaborating with colleagues and partner teams based across different international locations. The role offers an exciting combination of design leadership, project management, team leadership and international collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and take ownership of major international five-star hospitality projects
  • Drive design development and maintain the creative vision throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work closely with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Manage and coordinate internal design teams
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level designers
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers
  • Collaborate with international teams and project partners across multiple locations
  • Review and oversee design documentation and project deliverables
  • Manage project priorities, programmes and key deadlines
  • Attend and lead client, consultant and project meetings
  • Contribute to the wider development and success of the studio

About You

We're looking for an experienced hospitality designer who is ready to operate at Associate level and take genuine ownership of complex, high-profile projects.

You'll ideally have:

  • Significant experience working on luxury / five-star hospitality projects
  • Strong design and project leadership experience
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor design teams
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
  • Strong understanding of the design process from concept through to delivery
  • The confidence to make decisions, take responsibility and drive projects forward
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across international teams and cultures
