Location – London
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of lighting projects across hospitality, residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- Develop innovative lighting concepts, design strategies, and technical solutions that align with project objectives and client aspirations.
- Manage project teams, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery of design outputs across all project stages.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, interior designers, and consultants, fostering strong working relationships.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Senior Lighting Designers, Lighting Designers, and junior team members.
- Review and oversee lighting calculations, technical documentation, specifications, and design presentations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of lighting within the overall design vision.
- Monitor project resources, schedules, and budgets to ensure efficient project execution.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, sustainability standards, and best practices in lighting design.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional lighting design experience, preferably within hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept through construction and completion.
- Advanced proficiency in lighting design and documentation software, including AutoCAD, DIALux, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of lighting technologies, controls, sustainability principles, and relevant international standards.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence and technical expertise across a variety of project types.
