We are newly recruiting for an Associate to join our busy Finance Litigation team in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
This role is offered on a flexible working basis and would best suit a Scottish qualified Solicitor between NQ-5 year's PQE, looking for a new career opportunity with clear routes for progression.
Your Role
As a key addition to our growing team in Scotland, you can expect to be involved with:
- Varied work spanning financial services with clients including clearing banks, private banks, building societies and/or niche lenders together with commercial dispute resolution cases
- Working closely alongside our Partners in Glasgow and Edinburgh on complex work, projects and the long-term development of the team
- Collaborating with colleagues across other teams and office locations
- Participating in business development, nurturing new and existing client relationships

We are looking for:
- A Scottish, E&W or dual-qualified Solicitor with financial or commercial litigation background
- A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
- Commercial awareness with enthusiasm for business development and an appetite for keeping up-to-date with the latest legal developments
- Ability to understand your client’s business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
- An ambitious and enthusiastic team player, able to support senior fee earners and contribute to our collaborative culture
