Associate Manager, PDF Production & Delivery

Have you built your career around producing complex PDFs and working with automated publishing workflows? Are you someone others turn to when a production issue needs troubleshooting? Do you want to improve and scale the automated workflows behind high-volume learning content, including making digital PDFs more accessible?

CFA Institute is looking for an Associate Manager, PDF Production & Delivery to own and optimise the day-to-day health of our PDF production workflows. You will be a trusted source of expertise, supporting Content Production and Editorial team members, resolving complex production issues and improving the automated processes used to create learning materials across our credentialing programs.

You will work across both print and digital PDF production, with a particular opportunity to improve how accessibility is built into automated, high-volume publishing workflows. This is a new individual contributor role where your technical production expertise will directly influence the quality and effectiveness of the content delivered to learners.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and optimise the day-to-day health of automated PDF production workflows, ensuring reliable, high-quality outputs.
  • Act as a key escalation point for Content Production Specialists, troubleshooting complex PDF production, formatting and rendering issues and helping others resolve problems effectively.
  • Work with Typefi in a structured-content publishing environment to produce and improve PDF outputs, identifying opportunities to make processes more efficient and robust.
  • Support both digital and print production, ensuring PDFs are appropriately configured for their intended output, including print export requirements.
  • Apply and reinforce accessibility best practices for digital PDFs, identifying ways to embed accessible tagging, semantic structure and presentation patterns into automated production workflows at scale.
  • Design, test and implement workflow improvements within established standards, including regression testing following workflow or system changes.
  • Work within broader structured-content workflows that support ePub and other digital learning outputs, while maintaining primary ownership of PDF production.
  • Partner with Content Architecture, Content Technology, Editorial, Production and other teams to resolve issues that cross systems or require broader workflow changes.
  • Act as a trusted PDF production advisor, mentoring colleagues and helping prevent recurring production issues.
  • Maintain clear, practical workflow documentation and reinforce consistent production and quality standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
