MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data.
  • Experience working in communications and policy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ABOUT THE JOB:

As a part of the Product and Business Strategy Leader, you will bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally as the team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Your role often includes components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Your team will partner with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut existing organizations and deliver high-impact projects, help Engineers, Product Managers, User Experience (UX), and all other functions to build amazing products that delight users, and then get those products into their hands.

In this role, you will be a thought partner and subject matter expert on the Trust team, focusing on collaboration, principled decision-making, and purpose. Your team will partner closely with Engineering and Product Management across key product areas (e.g., Search, Maps, Commerce, Ads) to support their ability to deliver trusted experiences for users.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $126000 - $180000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute the Knowledge and Information (K&I) Trust scaled advocacy strategy, delivering externalizable assets, for Google K&I products across information literacy, sensitive content, vulnerable user journeys, and privacy.
  • Lead integrated campaign development that aligns with product needs and advocacy strategies, driving both awareness and positive Key Opinion Formers (KOF) sentiment.
  • Deliver scaled advocacy support through cohesive, evidence-based impact measurement, along with institutionalized feedback tracking and analysis.
  • Amplify Communications/PR/Marketing efforts by supporting complementary stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with other teams and external stakeholders to execute on a programmatic campaign strategy, clarifying target audiences, messaging frameworks, and creative direction across paid and life-cycle channels.
