About Zapp
Zapp is London's leading premium convenience retail platform. Founded in 2020, our vision is to disrupt the multi-trillion dollar convenience retail market, by developing best-in-class customer-centric technology and fulfilment solutions. Zapp partners with some of the world's leading brands to deliver an exclusive range of hand-picked products 24/7, delivered in minutes.
The Role
As an Associate, Marketing & Growth, you will sit at the centre of the marketing team, working across every function to drive impact. This is a high-visibility role that demands exceptional analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with the Growth Director and Marketing team, supporting them in strategic decision-making, operational execution and special projects that cut across brand, CRM, performance, partnerships, merchandising and growth.
It is a strategic generalist seat for someone who wants to understand how a modern consumer business is actually built, learn every channel from the inside, and work directly with the people making the decisions. You will be highly adaptable, proactive, and comfortable moving from a quick analysis for leadership in the morning to a hands-on campaign launch in the afternoon.
Your Remit
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Strategic projects across the marketing function
You will own quarterly strategic projects set by the Director, from scoping through to recommendation. These might be a competitor deep-dive, a channel economics review, a new launch plan, or joining the team to execute on partnerships, events and brand campaigns. You move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution without friction.
Business reporting and performance insight
You will own the weekly marketing performance read-out across every channel, pulling data, spotting trends, and translating numbers into a clear story the marketing team can act on.
Cross-functional project coordination
You will coordinate major quarterly initiatives that span marketing and the wider business, from kickoff through delivery. You will keep timelines moving, chase inputs, and own the follow-through across teams.
Advancement: own a function
Over 18 - 24 months, based on what you naturally gravitate toward and where the business needs the most capacity, you will take on a specific channel, function or initiative. The intent is for this seat to be a launchpad, not a destination.
Core Competencies and Skills
- 2+ years of experience in marketing or growth adjacent roles, strategy consulting, high-growth scale-up or a top-tier graduate scheme.
- Exceptional analytical rigour: You can structure a problem, run the analysis, and reach a defensible conclusion. You are comfortable in spreadsheets, dashboards and simple data tools.
- Clear communication: You can take a complex problem and explain it in one page, one chart, or one sentence depending on what the audience needs.
- Problem-solving instinct: You default to finding the answer rather than waiting to be told. You spot the thing that is not working and bring a view on how to fix it.
- Bias to action: You get energy from shipping. You prefer finished to perfect, and you do not need everything resolved before you start.
- Attention to detail: You care that the numbers add up and the campaign goes out without typos. You understand that the detail is where credibility is built.
- Adaptability: You can move between strategic thinking and tactical execution in the same hour without losing quality on either.
- Ownership mindset: You bring more than is asked of you. You take ownership even when the task sits across someone else's remit.
