M&E Associate Engineer

Location: London

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000+ DOE

Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

Working: London-based with some hybrid flexibility

The Opportunity

An established and growing building services consultancy is looking for an experienced M&E Associate Engineer to join its London team.

This is a key appointment for the business and would suit an M&E Associate Engineer who is ready to take genuine ownership of projects, manage client relationships, and play an important role in the continued growth of an independent consultancy.

The Role

As an M&E Associate Engineer, you'll take responsibility for projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, architects, contractors, and the wider engineering team.

The M&E Associate Engineer will provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary projects, helping to coordinate mechanical and electrical design while ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Managing M&E projects and technical deliverables
  • Taking ownership of commercial and industrial/warehouse projects
  • Managing client and stakeholder relationships
  • Reviewing mechanical and electrical designs
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary MEP solutions
  • Leading design and project meetings
  • Providing technical guidance to the wider team
  • Supporting project programmes and delivery
  • Contributing to business development and client growth

About You

The ideal M&E Associate Engineer will have strong building services consultancy experience and a Mechanical or Electrical bias, alongside a broad understanding of both disciplines.

You'll need experience managing projects and clients, reviewing M&E design, and working autonomously. Commercial office and industrial/warehouse experience is particularly important.
