About Hesta Health

Hesta Health is setting a new standard for women's health, starting with pregnancy and the two years after birth. We combine compassionate, evidence-based clinical care with technology built at the forefront of AI-native healthcare. We raised one of the largest pre-seed rounds in women's health in Europe last year, alongside grant funding.

Within months of founding we operationalised a CQC-registered multidisciplinary healthcare service, have already cared for hundreds of women, and been featured in The Times.

Cofounders

  • Dr Sujitha Selvarajah (NHS OBGYN Doctor, global public health background, worked with the WHO and The Lancet, and ex-researcher at Oxford and UCL)
  • Amanda Cupples (ex-Managing Director, Airbnb UK, Northern Europe and MEA; ex-COO, Babylon; ex-McKinsey and Deluxe)

Supported by world-leading clinical, product, and technology advisors, and backed by investors including Eka, Blue Lion, Ascension, and others.

We're early-stage: genuine ownership, genuine impact, and the chance to build something that doesn't exist yet, that changes millions of lives.

What women who've used Hesta are saying

  • "Surpassed any expectations. Highly recommend."
  • "I have never felt this listened to or heard by a GP before. I felt very empowered and supported."

What clinicians including GPs are saying

  • "This is so good. Women won't even need to see the GP with this! This is even better than most GPs."

What we are looking for

Hesta Health is seeking an ambitious, exceptionally compassionate, and clinically excellent doctor to join our growing team as Associate Medical Director. We welcome applications from across the medical profession, whether you are a GP, a specialist, or a doctor whose background has taken you somewhere in between. What matters is clinical credibility, a genuine passion for women's health, and the drive to build something better to make systems level change. Opportunities like this do not come around often.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving health outcomes in women's health, who wants to lead a team of clinicians and help them grow, and who is energised by the challenge of building a service that does not yet exist in the way it should. You will lead the multidisciplinary clinical team, own the continuous improvement cycle, and turn every insight from care delivery into better pathways, ensuring exceptional, compassionate care is delivered and that the Hesta service gets smarter with every woman we care for.

You will be the accountable clinical lead for governance and regulatory standards across the service, holding overall responsibility for the quality and safety framework that underpins everything we do. This means setting and maintaining clinical policies and protocols to the standard our regulator expects, chairing clinical governance and risk review, ensuring robust audit, incident reporting and learning cycles are embedded across the team, and acting as the primary clinical point of contact for regulatory engagement and inspection readiness.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
