Attribution Search is supporting a leading global alternative asset manager in the search for a Middle Office Associate to join its Operations team on a contract running through the end of Q1 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong private credit/loan operations background who is available to start at short notice.

Working in a front-office-aligned environment, the successful candidate will support a broad private credit platform, ensuring the smooth execution and ongoing management of complex loan transactions across the investment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end operational support across private credit and direct lending transactions, from deal execution through to settlement and ongoing lifecycle management.
  • Monitor private credit deal pipelines, including delayed draw facilities, revolvers, and bespoke loan structures, ensuring operational readiness and timely funding.
  • Partner closely with Portfolio Managers and Investment Teams to manage funding requirements, cash movements, and daily liquidity reporting.
  • Oversee loan servicing activities, including trade support, asset servicing, reconciliations, and collateral management.
  • Validate NAV and P&L in conjunction with fund administrators and pricing teams.
  • Support FX funding and hedging activities across multi-currency loan portfolios.
  • Manage relationships with agent banks, counterparties, custodians, and external service providers.
  • Take ownership of month-end processes, including cash, position, and income reconciliations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and scalability of the operations function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
