ASSOCIATE – STRATEGIC TEAM LIFTS & GROWTH ADVISORY
London | £40K + Uncapped Commission | Growth advisory for Insurance, Insurtech, Specialty Finance & Technology
Broaden is a growth consultancy operating at the intersection of executive search, growth advisory, and corporate M&A. We're a rapidly growing team with a strong base of clients, and we're looking to scale our London office to support client relationship development and the management of the firm's growth consultancy (recruitment and start-up advisory) processes.
We do not specialise in high-volume contingent recruitment or just grind job boards. Instead, we work directly with CEOs and M&A Directors across insurance, FinTech, and financial sectors to execute retained search mandates, long-term growth advisory, and strategic team lifts.
We're looking for an organised people-person who's genuinely interested in gaining a front seat into building million dollar businesses, someone who values variety in their day, and someone who's hell-bent on making an actual difference to companies and candidates. Our clients are in critical growth phases - often scaling rapidly post VC/PE fundraising round - and rely on us to deliver honest, high-quality processes at pace for them.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
