Associate Non-Executive Director
We are looking to appoint an Associate Non-Executive Director to our Board, with recent (current or within the last 3 years) primary care experience as a G.P. Of equal importance, is your alignment with our values and ability to think strategically: helping us look beyond the boundaries of our organisation and build relationships and partnerships with our community and across a broad range of public, voluntary and social enterprise sector organisations.
Responsibilities
- Shaping the Strategy: NHS boards play a key role in shaping the strategy, vision and purpose of an organisation.
- Accountability: They hold the organisation to account for the delivery of strategy and ensure value for money.
- Risk Management: Assuring that risks to the organisation and the public are managed and mitigated effectively.
- Performance Oversight: Led by an independent Chair and composed of a mixture of both Executive and independent Non-Executive members, the Board has a collective responsibility for the performance of the organisation.

Location
Surrey is a beautiful county lying just 30 minutes away from Central London and from the South Coast. Our historic market towns and bustling districts are enveloped in wonderful countryside, and our excellent road and rail networks bring the rest of the country within easy reach. For international travel, both Gatwick and Heathrow airports are nearby.
