Associate Occupational Therapist - Brain Injury
Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire
Rate: £50-£70 per hour plus paid travel time and mileage
Hours: Flexible, associate work from ad-hoc to part/full time work depending on preference

About The Role
KT Healthcare is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide specialist support to an individual with complex neurological and developmental needs, including brain injury, cerebral palsy, learning difficulties, developmental delay, autism, and epilepsy.
The main focus of the role will be sensory-based Occupational Therapy and sensory integration-informed input, alongside some support around the home environment and housing needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention.
- Assess sensory processing needs and develop appropriate strategies.
- Provide sensory integration-informed therapeutic input.
- Make recommendations around functional and environmental needs.
- Provide advice and guidance to family and the wider support team.
- Complete relevant assessments, reports, and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
About You
We are looking for an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with experience supporting individuals with complex neurological, developmental, and sensory needs.
Experience in sensory integration, autism, cerebral palsy, and/or brain injury would be highly desirable.
