About the Role:

You will undertake a variety of specialist Occupational Therapy work, including:

  • Occupational Therapy assessments
  • Sensory processing assessments
  • Functional assessments
  • EHCP Section F assessments and recommendations
  • Comprehensive report writing
  • Developing practical recommendations for education settings and families
  • Attendance at EHCP reviews, annual reviews and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Liaison with schools, local authorities, parents and other professionals

Each referral is different, giving you the opportunity to work with a range of children and young people with complex presentations.

About You:

We are looking for Occupational Therapists who have:

  • HCPC registration
  • A recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Excellent assessment and report writing skills
  • A sound understanding of SEND legislation and the EHCP process
  • Experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences and other neurodevelopmental conditions
  • Strong communication and multidisciplinary working skills
