Associate - Origination, Project & Structured Finance
Join Siemens Bank, part of Siemens Financial Services (SFS), in London as an Associate within the Origination, Project & Structured Finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Origination UK & MEA, you will play a key supporting role in sourcing, structuring, and executing complex infrastructure and energy financing transactions across the UK and Middle East & Africa (MEA).

This is an opportunity to join a highly experienced and market-leading team responsible for arranging and investing in landmark and complex transactions across sectors including energy transition comprising renewables, storage solutions, transportation, regulated utilities, environmental and social infrastructure (such as water and waste), digital (including data centres) and hybrid infrastructure (amongst others).
What part will you play
- Support the identification, origination and execution of large-scale infrastructure and energy financing opportunities across the UK and MEA, including bilateral, club and syndicated debt transactions.
- Start building first relationships with sponsors, developers, corporates, financial institutions, advisors and other key market participants to support business development and transaction origination.
- Work alongside senior originators to structure tailored financing solutions and act as part of the mandated lead arranger team on complex transactions.
- Take a leading role to support on transaction execution, including financial analysis, due diligence credit analysis, approval processes and documentation negotiations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams comprising Risk Management, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Funding, Portfolio Management, Accounting and Syndication colleagues to deliver transactions efficiently and effectively.
- Support in assessing primary and secondary market opportunities and prepare the analysis for participation, overseeing internal approvals and execution processes.
- Engage directly with clients, lenders, advisors and technical consultants throughout the financing process, helping negotiate commercial terms, financing structures and transaction documentation.
- Support in preparing and presenting lending opportunities, transaction updates and risk-return assessments to senior management and Siemens Bank credit committees.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Siemens Group to originate new opportunities and deliver integrated solutions to customers.
- Monitor market developments, emerging infrastructure trends and financing innovations to identify new business opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives.

What we’re looking for
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a client-facing debt origination, project finance role, ideally gained within a bank or comparable financial institution.
- Demonstrable experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors, with exposure to project-financed transactions across relevant sectors
- Strong understanding of project finance principles, credit analysis, risk assessment, debt structuring and transaction execution processes.
- Strong experience in reviewing project finance financial models and performing sensitivity, scenario and credit analyses.
- Experience in reviewing financing documentation with appropriate support
- Highly motivated, proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with confidence interacting directly with clients, sponsors, advisors and banking partners.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
