Associate, Payment Products
We are looking for an Associate, Payment Products to own LFC’s payment technology and systems. You will drive secure, innovative and fan-focused solutions across e-commerce, ticketing, hospitality, memberships, subscriptions, tours and EPOS.
You will manage relationships with payment providers, banks and technology vendors, including Stripe, CyberSource, Forter, BNPL and e-voucher/gift card partners, while working closely with Finance, Security, Compliance and Product.
You will advise the LFC Finance team on payment processes and technology, supporting effective governance, compliance and tracking.
What will you be doing?
Product Leadership & Strategy
- Support Business Leads and Senior Manager, Finance & HR Systems on shaping and delivering the Payments Technology strategy.
- Manage the Payments roadmap and backlog, aligned with efficiency, commercial, user experience, and innovation goals.
- Champion the club wide AI strategy where appropriate to improve internal processes or systems
- Champion the seamless integration of digital and physical payment journeys, including RFID, self-checkout, digital wallets, and cross-channel loyalty initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and product teams to introduce new payment methods, channels, and experiences globally.
- Leverage data to evaluate payment performance, drive down costs, reduce fraud, and improve reconciliation in collaboration with Finance.
Payments Technology & Vendor Management
- Manage the day-to-day technical relationships with Stripe, CyberSource Decision Manager, Forter, EPOS providers, BNPL vendors, Gift Card platforms, and any gateways or acquiring banks.
- Evaluate and onboard new PSPs or alternative payment methods that align with regional market needs and fan preferences.
- Oversee technical integration of payment solutions into platforms such as Magento, SeatGeek, mobile apps, and club EPOS systems.
- Target a reduction in the number of suppliers (where appropriate) we are using across your product suite
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure all payment processes are PCI DSS, GDPR, Card Scheme and legally compliant, working closely with InfoSec, Legal, and Risk functions.
- Ensure any use of AI is compliant with internal policies.
- Create and monitor technical KPIs such as authorization rates, reconciliation timelines, payment costs, fraud rates, and chargebacks—optimizing these continuously and reporting to the relevant business areas.
- Provide subject matter expertise to ensure operational teams and business functions deliver the best possible experience for fans.

Innovation & Omnichannel Experience
- Work with physical retail, stadium ops, and hospitality to implement next-generation in-store payment experiences including RFID, contactless loyalty, and POS innovation.
- Partner with UX and research teams to identify pain points and create frictionless and localized payment experiences for fans globally.
- Investigate opportunities to converge physical and digital journeys through tokenization, single customer view, and mobile-first experiences.
- Work with payment partners to meet both LFC and partner needs.
- Across your product estate – Support the business with business cases as needed to justify the budget required for change
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with teams across Finance, Retail, Ticketing, Technology, Marketing, and Operations to align payment capabilities with wider business goals.
- Work with Digital Product colleagues to embed payment features into other journeys (e.g. checkout, ticket purchase, account management).
- Support compliance efforts and internal audits, ensuring payment platforms meet internal and external standards.
Who are we looking for?

- Experience with Trello, Jira, GitLab or similar tools.

- Senior payments product experience in e-commerce, ticketing, EPOS or another omnichannel environment.
- Strong knowledge of gateways, fraud prevention, acquiring banks and payment service providers.
- B2C and B2B payment experience across currencies, regions and alternative payment methods.
- Hands-on EPOS and in-person payment integration experience.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills at all levels.
- Commercial experience managing payment costs, reconciliation and fraud metrics.
- Working knowledge of PCI DSS, PSD2, SCA and data protection requirements.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience focused on value.
- Experience setting KPIs and targets.
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and stay self-motivated.
- Experience working with third parties and multi-site Scrum teams.
- Willing to represent the club at industry events and travel when required.
- Understanding of using AI and automation to simplify processes and reduce cost or time.
Desirable
- Experience with Centra, SeatGeek, Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar platforms.
- Understanding of fan-first journeys across ticketing, retail, memberships and events.
- Experience with RFID, kiosks, tap-to-pay or loyalty-linked payments.
- Familiarity with GA4, Mixpanel or BI dashboards.
- Knowledge of global payment expectations and fan behaviour.
