Job Opportunity: Associate Planner
Location: Hampshire
Position: Associate Planner (RTPI Accredited)
Competitive Salary package dependent on experience.
Our client is a highly respected planning consultancy with a 38-year history of providing top-tier services to landowners, developers, and private individuals across the UK. They are seeking an experienced Associate Planner to join their growing team in Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering clear, realistic advice with a personalized service.
- Independently handling a full range of planning work.
- Developing and managing client relationships and business development activities.
- Preparing and managing planning applications, site appraisals, and policy research.
- Representing clients at Planning Committee meetings and appeals.
- Leading and coordinating project teams and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications
- Chartered Planner/RTPI Member.
- Full driving license (exceptions can be considered).
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding and experience in planning work.
- Excellent commercial understanding of development projects.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
- Collaborative and supportive work ethic.
Business Development
- Proactively securing new instructions and generating planning work.
- Representing the company at networking events and business development projects.
