Our client
Our client is the dedicated secondaries business of a leading global alternative investment manager, with a three-decade track record and one of the largest dedicated pools of secondaries capital in the market. The team invests across GP-led continuation vehicles, LP portfolio acquisitions and preferred/structured equity, backed by the proprietary data, sponsor relationships and balance sheet of a global multi-strategy franchise.
The opportunity
We are seeking an Associate to join the London team, focused on private equity secondaries across Europe. You will underwrite buyout and growth fund interests and continuation vehicles, working directly with senior investment professionals on live transactions from screening through to close. This is a seat with genuine runway: the team is growing, and the role is structured to develop into a full Senior Associate cycle.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
