Role Overview
The Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Transnational Education) is a senior academic leadership role reporting directly to the Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor. The postholder will provide strategic leadership for the University's growing transnational education (TNE) portfolio, supporting the development and delivery of international partnerships and programmes that align with the University's strategic priorities. Working closely with Faculties, Schools, the International Office, and professional services colleagues, they will drive the development of strategic transnational education opportunities across priority regions and partner institutions, while serving as the University's senior champion for TNE.

The successful candidate will provide oversight of academic quality, student experience, and programme delivery across all international provision, ensuring that Leeds programmes delivered overseas meet the highest standards. They will strengthen the University's global reputation through sustainable partnerships, effective governance, and innovative approaches to teaching, learning, and assessment, helping to deliver a coordinated and ambitious international education strategy.

This will be discussed and explored by the panel with you as part of the interview.
In addition, you will also be asked to talk for 5 minutes (no slides) on:
- The role of APVC is new and aimed at leading success. Outline what you believe are the main challenges for your portfolio across the University and how your leadership will enable academic excellence.
