Role Description
The Associate Producer (Film Fund) – VOLUNTEERS ONLY role is a part-time, on-site position based in London. This role supports the development and management of a film fund, including coordinating applications, tracking projects, and assisting with communication between filmmakers and the production team.

- Helping review project proposals
- Supporting pre-production planning
- Maintaining documentation
- Contributing to scheduling and logistics for selected projects
The Associate Producer will collaborate closely with producers and directors, assist in identifying promising documentary and film projects, and help ensure that the fund aligns with the company’s mission of supporting diverse and underrepresented voices. The role also involves:
- Attending team meetings
- Contributing ideas for community outreach
- Providing administrative support related to film fund operations
Qualifications
- Ability to support core Film Production activities, including basic understanding of Video Production and Documentaries.
- Familiarity with Pre-production processes such as project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Awareness of Video Post-Production workflows, including editing timelines and file management.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communities.
- Demonstrated interest in inclusive storytelling, community-focused film work, and supporting underrepresented voices.
- Experience in independent film, grassroots projects, or arts/nonprofit environments is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work on-site in London, maintain confidentiality, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
