Associate Product Manager
We are looking for a passionate, talented Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our Product Management Team. This individual will work alongside talented Senior Product Managers and engineers to assist in an enterprise digital transformation supporting global music rights management and royalty distribution.
The APM partners with Senior Product Managers to support the development of new product concepts, designs and features as well as support the enhancement of existing product applications. The APM will assist in creating wireframes, mockups, training materials, and other artifacts as needed to support the identification and breakdown of application features.
This individual is expected to participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and integration of products as well as the introduction of products to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as part of the larger product management group to produce and iteratively expand on product vision and strategy.
- Act as a liaison with the executive team, senior leaders, and engineering teams.
- Participate in strategic planning and road-mapping activities supporting the RAPTOR digital transformation effort.
- Assist in defining product features and functions with particular focus on delivering the best, most intuitive end-user experience.
- Support the definition and championing of metrics for understanding the engagement and impact of products and features.
- Engage in the development of wireframes, mock-ups or similar pre-engineering prototypes for discussion and review as part of the development process.
- Assist with presentations and updates on product related subjects related to the RAPTOR initiative.
- Serving as part of cross functional project teams for the purpose of implementing product improvements or releasing new product features.
- Assist in the facilitation and support of product owned meetings and agile ceremonies (design sessions, backlog refinement, planning, solutioning, stand-ups, etc.).
Minimum Skillset Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field required (or commensurate work experience).
- Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus, extract the necessary information, and validate understanding of the information.
- Solid business acumen and understanding of a variety of functional areas within the business. Must be proficient in negotiation and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customers' needs and identify new ways to serve/satisfy the customer.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- The ability to work well independently and on a team.
- At least 2 years of experience serving in a product or product support role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail, and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.
- Experience working in the multiple agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
- Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment. Promotes an environment that encourages cohesiveness and fosters trust and open communication with the team, peers, and all business partners.

Desired Skillset:
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud infrastructure, including AWS.
- Music industry domain knowledge.
- Experience working with TDD/ BDD Environments.
- Experience with Atlassian toolset (Confluence, JIRA, JIRA Service Manager).
- Agile, Product and/or Coaching certifications.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations; and
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or participation in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's retirement plan (or similar retirement benefits).
