We’re working with a growing global financial trading business that is continuing to invest heavily in its product and technology function. As the product team expands, they are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join their Trading Platforms team and support the continued development of the digital experiences used by traders every day.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager with 1–3 years’ experience who wants to develop deeper expertise within trading technology. You’ll work closely with an experienced Product Lead and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver improvements across proprietary web and mobile trading platforms, as well as third-party trading interfaces.
The role has a strong front-end and UX/UI focus, making it particularly suited to someone who enjoys understanding how users interact with digital products and turning customer feedback, behaviour and data into meaningful product improvements.
Role Highlights
- Support the roadmap and delivery across the Trading Platforms product area.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Design and other stakeholders to deliver improvements across web, mobile and third-party trading interfaces.
- Contribute to the development of trading platform features including order tickets, charting, watchlists, alerts, news and content.
- Work closely with designers and clients to understand user behaviour, gather feedback and translate insights into product requirements.
- Own and maintain the backlog for technical squads delivering platform improvements.
- Monitor key product and commercial metrics including engagement, feature adoption, usability, performance and revenue per trade.
- Help identify opportunities for continuous improvement while contributing to longer-term product strategy.
- Develop a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging trends across trading platforms.
- Build your knowledge of leveraged trading products with the opportunity to grow towards ownership of your own product vertical.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
