The Opportunity

Reporting into the Payments Product Owner, you will support the delivery and continuous improvement of the Sales and Payments capabilities by working closely with other Product Owners, Engineering Teams, and Stakeholders to ensure well-defined, prioritised, and high-quality delivery of our services. You will work alongside the existing Digital Product Owner for Payments (part-time) sharing tasks and workload to drive through the digital change agenda. The Sales & Payments team uses the Scrum methodology to deliver software in an Agile way. Alongside the current Product Owner, you will help manage the backlog using business led prioritisation and contribute to the overall payment’s roadmap.

This new role is a rare opportunity to develop your Product Ownership skills safely within an established Agile team, working alongside experienced Product Owners.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Support backlog management, prioritisation and Agile delivery activities
  • Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria and review delivered software against business requirements
  • Act as first point of contact for routine payment-related queries and resolve routine delivery issues
  • Apply knowledge of card payment processes (authorisation, settlement/capture, refunds) to support new and existing services
  • Ensure APIs follow defined standards, documentation and versioning approaches
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, support delivery of the payment’s roadmap and coordinate between Buy, CX, SAP & Finance teams
  • Communicate progress and updates clearly and share knowledge with wider team members
  • Support monitoring of API performance and payment success rates, identify issues and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with internal and external colleagues for incident management, issue resolution and maintaining operational standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
