The successful candidate will be expected to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of law modules, particularly in the area of Law and Technology, and will supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations. You will provide academic guidance and support to students, and will contribute to the development of new programmes and curriculum innovations. You will also contribute to administrative duties and will be engaged in the broader academic life of the School.
The successful candidate will have a record of teaching students (or evidence of an ability to teach students) across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes but particularly in the area of Computer/Digital/AI/Internet Law and/or Legal Tech.

Associate Professor Applicants
Candidates for the Associate Professorship role should have:
- A PhD in Law or equivalent legal practice or academic experience;
- Experience of initiating, developing and delivering high quality research and publications of international standing or equivalent professional activity;
- Experience of working effectively as part of a team to develop, manage and deliver academic programmes or equivalent professional experience.
Those applying with a legal practice background will need to demonstrate an ability to teach and lead on the development of Law and Technology modules drawing on real-world professional experience to ground academic insight. Those applying with a research background will need to demonstrate a high level of engagement with research in the area of Law and Technology.

Senior Lecturer Applicants
Candidates applying at senior lecturer level should have:
- A PhD or equivalent legal practice or academic experience;
- Significant experience of teaching, mentoring, administration and leadership;
- An established record of high-quality research outputs, knowledge exchange or equivalent professional activity.
