Associate Project Manager
Ecology & Environmental Consultancy
Enniskillen or Lisburn | Full-Time
A growing environmental consultancy is looking for an ambitious Associate Project Manager to join its expanding Ecology and Environmental team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with project management experience within an environmental consultancy who is looking to take on greater responsibility and progress their career within a growing organisation. The role will primarily focus on managing and coordinating a diverse range of environmental and ecological projects, working closely with clients, technical specialists, and field teams.
Based from either Enniskillen or Lisburn, depending on the successful candidate's location, you will work alongside senior Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget. You will become a key point of contact for clients, coordinating project activity, managing resources, and overseeing field survey programmes.

The role will involve:
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Organising field staff and survey schedules
- Monitoring budgets
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality technical outputs
- Playing an important role in mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
- Contributing to tender submissions
- Identifying opportunities to improve project delivery and efficiency
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised
- Commercially aware
- Confident managing clients and project teams
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience working within an environmental or ecological consultancy
- Comfort managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
A degree in Project Management, Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related discipline would be beneficial, alongside previous experience managing projects, budgets, and client relationships. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and deliver work to tight deadlines.

A full, clean driving licence is required, and there will be occasional travel and overnight stays across Ireland and the UK. While the role will primarily be office-based, there will also be opportunities to support fieldwork and work closely with the wider environmental teams.
