Associate Project Manager

Location: Home-based with travel to London once per week

Are you a Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst or Project Support professional looking to take the next step into Project Management? At Roc Technologies, we're looking for an ambitious Associate Project Manager to join our Programmes & Projects team and support the delivery of a major technology transformation programme for our client based in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers, gain exposure to large-scale enterprise projects and develop your career within a growing technology organisation.

You'll be joining an established project team delivering a major network refresh programme, supporting project governance, scheduling, stakeholder management and delivery activities.

Working closely with senior Project Managers, you'll gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle while building the skills and confidence needed to progress into a Project Manager position in the future.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintaining and updating project plans and schedules
  • Coordinating project meetings, actions and governance activities
  • Managing RAID logs, dependencies and project documentation
  • Supporting project reporting and stakeholder communications
  • Working with internal teams, suppliers and customer stakeholders
  • Assisting with resource planning and project controls
  • Supporting project financial tracking and reporting
  • Leading smaller workstreams and project activities as your experience develops
  • Ensuring project information is maintained within project management tools and reporting systems

Requirements

Essential

  • 1-3 years' experience within a Project Coordinator, PMO, Project Support or similar role
  • Experience maintaining project plans, actions, RAID logs and project documentation
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience using Microsoft Project or similar project management tools
  • Self-motivated with the confidence to work independently
  • Ability to travel to London at least one day per week
  • Eligible to obtain NPPV security

Desirable

  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure, networking, cloud or transformation projects
  • Public sector project experience
  • PRINCE2 Foundation certification
  • Experience using ServiceNow SPM
  • Existing SC clearance or experience working within secure environments
