Join us to transform today's energy challenges into sustainable solutions for tomorrow, and make a difference for our planet and future generations.

Boralex has been providing renewable and affordable energy for over 30 years. The Group, composed of more than 800 employees, operates renewable assets with an installed capacity of over 3 GW and is developing a project portfolio of 6.8 GW in wind, solar, and energy storage.

You have strong attention to detail, you are collaborative, and you have the ability to prioritize effectively. Moreover, you would thrive working on complicated renewable energy projects, as well as working for a company with strong human values in the renewable energy field.

In this role you will primarily take a supporting position in managing the deployment phase of a complex onshore wind project. You will also assist with the development of predominately onshore wind and energy storage projects across the UK. You will be part of a vibrant development and deployment team with varied levels of experience within the renewable energy industry.

This is a unique opportunity for someone interested in making a tangible impact in the renewable energy sector, with a meaningful role towards the decarbonisation of the UK economy, as well as being part of a global organisation that is deeply committed towards becoming one of the UK’s most successful independent own-and-operate renewable energy developers.

⚡ You will play an important role as part of the UK Development and Deployment team, reporting to the UK Development and Deployment Director while collaborating closely with colleagues in other Boralex specialist teams.

Whilst being involved with the development of Boralex’s ambitious onshore wind and battery storage UK portfolio, there will be particular emphasis over the first two years for you to assist with the deployment phase of a consented wind farm. For this specific project you will work directly with and report to the Project Director.

This role is crucial to the success of our development and deployment strategy and so requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic project management skills. As well as being involved with project community engagement events, you will be assisting with the management of multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
