We believe in bold ideas, diverse perspectives, and the drive to transform knowledge into impact. Here, your curiosity fuels progress, your voice shapes innovation, and your ambition helps redefine what’s possible within science and learning. We are a culture that obsesses over impact, challenges, and drives what’s next to power infinite possibilities for our customers, colleagues, and society at large.
About The Role
We are looking for an Associate Publisher to join Wiley’s Cochrane team and contribute to the development and delivery of Cochrane Clinical Answers.
Cochrane Clinical Answers are concise, evidence-based summaries derived from Cochrane reviews. Presented in a question-and-answer format using Patient, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome data, they give healthcare professionals accessible and trusted evidence to support informed treatment decisions at the point of care.
Working as part of a team of Cochrane Clinical Answers Editors, and with guidance from the Cochrane Clinical Answers Editor-in-Chief, you will manage content through the editorial workflow from initial data extraction to publication. You will work closely with practicing clinicians, editorial colleagues, internal teams, and external suppliers to ensure that published content is clinically relevant, accurate, consistent, and accessible.
You will also contribute to the continued development of the product by identifying opportunities to improve editorial workflows, content quality, and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the editorial workflow for assigned Cochrane Clinical Answers from content creation through to publication.
- Extract relevant data from Cochrane reviews, selecting clinically important outcomes and developing clear, evidence-based summaries for healthcare professionals.
- Review and quality-check data extractions and Cochrane Clinical Answers prepared by other editors.
- Assign content to practicing clinicians for drafting or clinical review and work with them to ensure the evidence is interpreted and represented accurately.
- Prepare Cochrane Clinical Answers for editorial approval and provide sign-off on content prepared by colleagues.
- Work closely with the Cochrane Clinical Answers Editor-in-Chief to maintain clinical relevance, accuracy, and consistency across published content.
- Prepare content for copyediting, respond to editorial queries, and complete the final preparation of content for publication.
- Complete the monthly content-selection process.
- Contribute to discussions about product enhancements, content-promotion opportunities, and editorial workflow improvements.
- Work with colleagues, internal teams, and third-party suppliers to investigate and resolve publication issues or workflow failures.
- Manage monthly invoicing processes and liaise with the Payments team to resolve payment-related queries.
- Monitor and respond to feedback, queries, and enquiries from current and prospective Cochrane Clinical Answers contributors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
