FREELANCE SOCIAL PUBLISHER | SPORTS CONTENT
Remote UK
Primarily midweek shifts
£200 for individual team coverage
£240 when covering both teams

A major London football club is strengthening its freelance publishing network.
We’re looking for experienced Social Publishers who can support remotely across busy midweek shifts, publishing content accurately and adapting copy for different platforms.
The work will include:
- Publishing content across major social channels
- Writing and adapting platform-specific copy
- Applying the correct tags, links and metadata
- Following established publishing processes
- Making sound editorial decisions
- Maintaining accuracy during fast-moving periods
- Working independently without constant direction
- Supporting coverage across one or two teams

You’ll need:
- Experience publishing content in football, sport or another high-volume environment
- Strong copywriting and editorial judgement
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence working across major social platforms
- The ability to work quickly and accurately
- Experience following governance and approval processes
- A reliable home-working setup
- Your own laptop and relevant equipment
- Availability for occasional midweek, evening or weekend shifts
Direct football-club or sports-organisation experience is strongly preferred.

The first shift will primarily involve shadowing and learning the process.
Further shifts are paid at:
- £200 for individual team coverage
- £240 when covering both teams
Bookings are offered across a wider freelance network based on availability and fit. You do not need to be available for every shift.
