An ambitious multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking for an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join its team in London.
An exciting opportunity for a strong Senior QS ready to take the next step, or an Associate QS with a track record delivering excellent results for clients across sectors including data centres, infrastructure, residential and mixed use.
With several major data centre projects underway and further projects in the pipeline, this role will provide the opportunity to lead project teams, work closely with a QS Director, and play a key role in developing commercial strategy.
The Role
Lead the team with responsibility for:
- Developing robust cost plans, estimates and procurement strategies
- Leading valuations, cost reporting, change control and contract administration
- Supporting claims and final account settlements
- Managing commercial risk throughout the project lifecycle
- Acting as a trusted client interface, providing strategic commercial advice
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a high-performance culture
- Supporting business development and developing strong client relationships

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience delivering cost consultancy on large-scale construction programmes
- Strong pre- and post-contract experience, ideally across complex infrastructure projects
- Excellent commercial and contractual understanding
- MRICS status or be working towards chartership
- Strong communication and client management skills
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people
- Strategic thinking, market awareness and ambition to progress into senior leadership
