Role: Associate Quantity Surveyor (MRICS)

Location: Greater Manchester

I’m currently supporting an established and growing consultancy in the Greater Manchester area with an exciting opportunity to join their Quantity Surveying team due to continued growth and project wins. You'll be a senior member of the team contributing to development and mentorship of junior colleagues and leading on the delivery of projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful delivery of multiple projects from feasibility through to final account.
  • Act as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong long term relationships.
  • Provide commercially focused advice and lead stakeholder meetings, ensuring effective communication across project teams.
  • Oversee the preparation of estimates, cost plans, tender documentation, pricing schedules, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor project financial performance, identifying risks, cost pressures, and forecasting final account positions.
  • Administer contracts across various forms, particularly JCT suites.
  • Support, mentor, and oversee junior team members, including APC guidance and development.
  • Manage team resources, allocate workload effectively, and ensure quality standards and deadlines are achieved.
  • Contribute to fee proposals, scope definition, and maintain high-quality, consistent project outputs.
