Real Estate Associate – 1-6 PQE – Elite US Law Firm

This is an opportunity to join a major US law firm that is firmly established as one of the global elite. The Role
The London real estate practice is thriving and in an exciting phase of strategic expansion. You will join a team recently strengthened with senior lateral hires and focused on providing market leading transactional advice across a diverse range of asset classes, both in the traditional property space and within rapidly growing sectors such as digital infrastructure. The group’s work spans all key stages of the investment lifecycle including acquisitions, disposals, structured joint ventures, portfolio transactions, landlord and tenant work, development projects and financing matters.

Associates in this team regularly handle complex, high-value deals involving multi-jurisdictional elements and challenging structuring issues. The role offers early responsibility, involvement in negotiations and client meetings, and the opportunity to work closely with high-profile partners driving the practice’s growth. Exposure to transactions in data centres and technology-driven assets will form an integral part of the workload, reflecting the client demand within this evolving asset category.
What They’re Looking For
- 1-6 PQE qualified in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
- Solid grounding in real estate transactional work, ideally from an international or leading City firm
- Experience of investment acquisitions/disposals, leasing matters and development projects
- Comfortable drafting and negotiating key real estate documents, including sale and purchase agreements and leases
- Ability to manage day-to-day running of transactions, coordinate due diligence and liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Strong technical ability coupled with sound commercial judgement and excellent communication skills
- A proactive approach and confidence working directly with both clients and senior lawyers
