We are seeking a skilled and commercially minded Real Estate lawyer to join our Real Estate team.

You will support the Real Estate team acting on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions encompassing a broad range of development, regeneration, investment, and asset management work.

This position will play a crucial role in the development and growth of key client relationships, and you will be responsible for the quality of service across the team.

This role will be based in our Leeds office, and we offer a hybrid working arrangement with attendance to the office 3 days per week (minimum).

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied case load of commercial real estate transactional work.
  • Support the Real Estate team in driving continuous growth and improvement across the team.
  • Working closely with clients to provide practical, clear, and robust legal advice, ensuring their commercial objectives are met.
  • Supervising and mentoring other junior team members.
  • Maintaining and managing strong relationships with key clients while striving to achieve further growth through new and existing business.

What will help you succeed in this role?

  • Qualified solicitor with considerable experience working in a leading real estate team.
  • Able to manage files independently and contribute to wider team matters when required.
  • Confident and personable with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative approach to building and developing strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and to maximize efficiency in working practices.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex transactions and multiple stakeholders.
