The Role

The global real estate private equity firm is hiring an Associate to join its Real Estate Portfolio Monitoring team in London. Portfolio Monitoring sits within the Real Estate Asset Management function and focuses on operational and reporting activities within that scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting of portfolio data for the European real estate portfolio, including data collection, entry, and updates.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and coordinate the annual strategic asset planning process for the European real estate portfolio.
  • Conduct ad-hoc deal and portfolio analysis covering investment returns, market values, and property-level operating data.
  • Assist with other asset management functions as required.
  • Handle relevant policy and compliance administration, and support process improvements and rollouts.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant work experience appropriate to the Associate level.
  • Good real estate knowledge across direct, indirect, and debt transactions.
  • Proven academic excellence in business, accounting, property, or a related field.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage projects.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of Macros, VBA, and visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and extracting portfolio insights from data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to coordinate and project manage across multiple stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.

Working Arrangements

The role is based in London. The firm operates a four-day in-office week, with flexibility on which day is worked remotely. This arrangement can be adjusted based on situational needs.
