Associate Recruitment Consultant – Business Support
Glasgow
£27,000–£28,000 per annum + uncapped commission
Search Recruitment Group is looking for ambitious, motivated Associate Recruitment Consultants to join our growing Business Support team in Glasgow.

You don’t need previous recruitment experience to thrive here. If you have at least 12 months’ experience in a professional working environment and the drive to learn, we’ll give you the tools, coaching and support to build a successful recruitment career.

The Role
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and winning new business opportunities.
- Speak with prospective clients, understand their hiring needs and create opportunities to build long-term partnerships.
- Source, engage and attract high-quality candidates through networking, referrals, LinkedIn and leading job boards.
- Interview and assess candidates to understand their experience, motivations and long-term career goals.
- Manage the full recruitment process from vacancy brief through to interview, offer and placement.
- Develop strong negotiation, objection-handling and relationship-building skills.
- Build your personal brand and establish yourself as a specialist within your market.
- Work towards and exceed individual targets in a busy, sales-driven environment where effort and results are rewarded.

You’ll need:
- Experience in a customer-facing, sales, commercial or target-driven environment would be a strong advantage.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to pick up the phone, build relationships and create opportunities.
- Resilience and the ability to stay motivated when faced with setbacks and objections.
- A competitive mindset and genuine motivation to achieve and exceed targets.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
