Associate Recruitment Consultant

£27,000–£28,000 per annum + uncapped commission
Search Recruitment Group is growing in Edinburgh, and we’re looking for an ambitious Associate Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing team.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for individuals who already have at least 12 months’ professional work experience and are ready to turn that experience into a fast-paced, commercially focused career.
You might work in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, or another target-driven environment. You don’t need previous recruitment experience — we’ll give you the training, coaching, and support to develop into a successful 360 Recruitment Consultant.

Experience in sales, customer service, or another commercial or target-driven environment would be advantageous.
What Will You Be Doing?
Recruitment is a people-focused sales career where you’ll build relationships, create opportunities, and make a real impact for both clients and candidates. You’ll be trained across the full 360 recruitment process, including:
- Building strong relationships with existing clients and developing new business opportunities.
- Speaking with prospective clients to understand their hiring challenges, processes, and needs.
- Sourcing, interviewing, and representing high-quality candidates within your specialist market.
- Managing the recruitment process from initial vacancy through to offer and placement.
- Negotiating, overcoming objections, and building long-term relationships.
- Building your own network, reputation, and personal brand in your market.
- Working towards individual targets and taking ownership of your success.
