The Role

Join the Consumer Products & Experiences International (CP&E Int’l) team in London, as part of the Consumer Products Retail Marketing team. Reporting to the Retail Marketing Director and working closely with the commercial and franchise team members, your main objective is to drive awareness and sell-through of consumer products across all touchpoints, with a focus on retail, spanning EMEA and APAC key countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Consumer Products Retail Marketing Campaigns & Activities

  • Develop and execute retail marketing campaigns and product launches globally, from ideation to day-to-day execution, including post-campaign analysis and budget management.
  • Track and optimise performance of paid advertising campaigns with selected retailers and licensees.
  • Brief creative teams for campaigns and asset creation, including:
    • POS (Point of Sale) displays
    • Social media posts
    • Video retail creatives
    • Digital assets
    • Localised campaigns
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with the brand identity and guidelines and provide relevant information to the teams.
  • Lead the Amazon shop creative, including product updates and Amazon paid media.
  • Influencer management:
    • Identify, negotiate, and manage paid and organic influencers.
    • Develop relationships with agencies.
  • Lead the UK market B2C newsletter project, from ideation to execution.
  • Explore new marketing opportunities to drive awareness with key retailers and licensees.
  • Stay updated with latest media and retail trends.

Building Relationships with External and Internal Stakeholders

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with marketing and commercial teams across key retailers, licensees, and agents to support sell-in for marketing ideas and campaigns.
  • Develop internal stakeholder relationships, including:
    • Marketing teams of other lines of business
    • Legal teams
    • Paid media and creative teams
  • Work with the wider CPE team and other Moonbug teams to support and execute cross-functional integrated marketing campaigns. Activities include:
    • Sourcing competition prizes
    • Collaboration with Content Distribution and Gaming teams

Consumer Products & Retail Marketing Strategy Support

  • Prepare retail marketing pitch decks to support sell-in and joint-business planning with licensees and retailers.
  • Support the development of consumer profiles using data and insights.
  • Lead the development of franchise calendars for key countries, including inputs from all Lines of Business (LOB), including:
    • Content
    • Gaming
    • Experiences
    • Events
    • Product launches
    • Retail marketing campaigns
    • Tentpoles
  • Analyse markets and competitors to develop innovative competitive retail marketing campaigns.

Professional Development

  • Attend industry trade shows, trainings, conferences, and marketing events to remain knowledgeable and cultivate business relationships.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant licensing, product, and/or retail marketing experience, preferably (but not essential) from entertainment brands with multiple consumer touchpoints.
  • Experience in operational marketing and omnichannel approaches.
  • Knowledge and experience with organic & paid social media.
  • Self-motivated individual with a can-do approach and strong positive attitude.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional teamwork skills, able to connect the dots between multiple areas.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, with high adaptability to shifting priorities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently while supporting global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of International markets (EMEA & APAC), comfortable working in multi-cultural environments.
  • Preference for candidates with knowledge of an additional language beside English.
