Maiden Marc Advisory Recruitment

Maiden Marc Advisory is looking to add several Associates (including September 2026 starting graduates) and experienced Senior Associates to a leading boutique Executive Search firm in London.

About the Company

Specialising in Board and Director-level placements across Private Equity (and PE backed PortCo's), Financial Services, Technology, Real Assets, Industrials and Consumer markets, they are consistently retained on 'C-Suite' searches by the most prestigious institutions across EMEA and North America and are widely considered to be one of the industry's best search firms.

Established in 2000 with an ambition to become unrivalled in their market reputation, they have built a brand respected by clients, candidates, and competitors alike. They promote organic growth and foster a genuine meritocratic environment, with the majority of Partners starting at the firm as Associates and growing with the company.

The Role

Joining at either the Associate or Senior Associate level with a base of £36,000 to £52,000 (depending on experience) plus a strong performance-weighted annual bonus structure, they have a fantastic track record of developing candidates through their Associate program into revenue-generating Consultants.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is achieved through a combination of 'on-desk' market exposure and a rotational development program perfected over 25+ years of trading.

This set-up gives Associates a mix of senior exposure and strategic involvement across consulting, delivery, and research, rotating them through four coverage areas over two years and allowing them to specialise in a chosen vertical over time based on personal preference and team fit.

As you progress, you will be given responsibility for more significant parts of the retained search mandate management and delivery, including:

  • Identifying, referencing, and assessing potential candidates for retained mandates
  • Ongoing research and networking to source top performers from talent pools across their core markets
  • Creating forensic competitor analysis, including strategic overviews, benchmarking, bespoke market and product intelligence reports through referencing and profiling market leaders
  • Assisting and running the client-side execution of active mandates
  • Conducting pre-pitch/origination research and due diligence, as well as proactively supporting strategic projects
  • Active outreach and long-term relationship building with the top talent in the market
