This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Sales Specialist based in United Kingdom.
As an Associate Sales Specialist, you will help drive the growth of innovative sports technology solutions across Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will combine your passion for professional football with a strong commercial mindset to develop new business and expand existing customer relationships. Working closely with regional sales teams and business development managers, you will guide customers through the full sales journey, from prospecting and discovery to demonstrations, negotiation, and closing. You will engage with senior football stakeholders, including Sporting Directors, Heads of Recruitment, Scouts, and Analysts. The role offers exposure to professional clubs, leagues, federations, and other sporting organisations across dynamic international markets. It is an opportunity to build a career in sports technology sales while contributing to solutions that help teams make smarter, data-driven decisions.

- Own and deliver an individual sales quota across the assigned Southern Europe, Middle East, and Africa territory.
- Generate, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities with professional football clubs, federations, leagues, and other sporting organisations.
- Identify cross-selling, expansion, and upselling opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Support business development-led opportunities where scouting and analysis solutions form part of broader technology or multi-product agreements.
- Proactively prospect target accounts and stakeholders to build a healthy and qualified sales pipeline.
- Position specialist scouting and analysis solutions alongside broader performance, video, and analytics technologies.
- Work collaboratively with Business Development Managers, Customer Success, and other internal teams to support customer retention, renewals, and expansion.
- Understand customer challenges and translate them into compelling, relevant technology solutions throughout the commercial process.
- Maintain accurate opportunity management, forecasting, and sales activity records using Salesforce.
- Manage multiple opportunities and customer relationships across a geographically diverse and fast-moving territory.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
