Role Description

Princes Liverpool is looking for two new SAP Security Analysts to join our Head Office in the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK's leading FMCG businesses.

Job Purpose

Provides entry-level support for SAP access management, security administration, BAU change activities and compliance processes. Develops SAP system knowledge whilst following defined procedures, controls and governance standards under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with SAP user administration, access requests and security role maintenance.
  • Support execution of approved SAP BAU changes and testing activities.
  • Follow documented procedures for security, change and compliance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and control reviews.
  • Assist with access reviews, user account updates and periodic compliance checks.
  • Identify issues and escalate risks, control concerns or system anomalies to senior team members.
  • Develop knowledge of SAP processes, controls and business operations.

Role Dimensions

  • Provides operational support across SAP security, access management and BAU change activities.
  • Works within established procedures, governance controls and service management processes.
  • Supports ECC6 and S/4HANA environments under supervision.
  • Contributes to audit, compliance and access review activities.
  • No budget responsibility.
  • No people management responsibility.

Role Requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of enterprise systems and information technology concepts.
  • Interest in SAP security, access management and business applications.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures accurately.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Competent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Experience

  • Experience in an IT, administration or business support role desirable.
  • Exposure to ERP systems or SAP is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience working within structured processes is desirable.

Qualifications

  • GCSE/A-Level, vocational qualification or equivalent experience.
  • IT-related apprenticeship, diploma or relevant study advantageous.

Behaviours

  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Acts with integrity and respects confidentiality requirements.
  • Follows instructions, procedures and governance standards.
