Associate Scientist - 12-Month Contract
Primary Purpose / Regulatory Responsibilities:
The holder of this post will be responsible for providing support for CMC process development activities of antibody-based therapeutics within the In-Process Analytical Sciences team of the Biologics DS Process Sciences (BPS) department. Work will span the testing and support for well-characterised processes supporting drug substance manufacture at various stages of drug development, from Pre-clinical to Clinical Phase I, II and III studies, to Process Validation support activities.
The position requires the application of technical problem-solving, as well as contributing to scientific discussions. These activities will require building relationships and working collaboratively with members of the team.

Main Responsibilities:
- To undertake activities via instruction or documented procedures
- To generate accurate data in a timely manner
- To deliver results and share project data for interpretation
- Compile data for incorporation into technical reports/publication
- To maintain a high standard of record keeping and documentation, including proper use of electronic laboratory notebooks, records and training material
- To report scientific findings to the team in an appropriate way, including presentations and informal discussions.

Requirements:
- A Bachelors Degree in a related, scientific field
- Experience working within a laboratory setting
- An Analytical mindset
